vashon island - lisabeula park

vashon (lisabuela park) is a quick bike and ferry ride from seattle. definitely an overnighter that can be taken on after work on a friday. the hills though make it a bit of a next level overnight mission from say faye park in bainbridge. being a bike/kayak only campground though, its worth the hills with the remote and quiet feel you get from the space when your so close to the city.

after getting off the main drag, you can cut across the island on a series of trails.

who doesn't wanna cowboy camp on the beach? i woke up, watched the water for a bit, and caught a glimpse of whale breaching in the distance.

like other S24O spots, food spots are always fairly close and negates the need to carry in food. i still find myself carrying a kettle, ramen, and coffee though. island queen is a good stop for a brekky burgy & cream.

plenty of berries to toss into your homie's mouths.

anyways, great spot for bicycle camping close to seattle. nice n quiet, good neature, good burgies, great company.
